wrong album covers and info and cant even find repeats

Die App ist ok. Aber leider mit Schwächen und hält nicht ganz was Sie immoment verspricht. Leider kann man derzeit nur Lieder scannen die in iTunes sind und nicht wie versprochen in einem anderen Ordner. Hatte Kontakt mit dem Support hier die Antwort: "….We can only handle the music files that have been added to iTunes, so please add your songs to iTunes first. Then you can use Leawo to scan and clean. We will develop a version that support adding songs in other directory, please keep an eye on the update if you are interested in…." Schade da es in der Beschreibung anders steht. Meine Anfrage war : " From iTunes ….. But for users who save songs in other directory, like Desktop etc, we added a special list shows the paths can not be read and write directly. And we offer you an option to open it man ally, then Tunes Cleaner can read and fix the songs in these folders. Please give me that Instruction." Hoffe das bald die Funktion nachgerüsteted wird.….

I figured that this update would be great. This update is worthless. As a company I would listen to what the users want. This program is now useless in everyway and I will have to buy something else. I would not recommend this app.

This app is a joke! I read the other reviews and figgured these people dont have a library like mine… it will be ok. What a waste of $20… its layout is bad. its tagging is bad. e.g. it uses "various artists" for almost any song with featured artists. and It wont correct tags where the song title tag contains the artists name of the song, which is the most common problem i have. Very frustrating purchase. So if youre looking for a $20 program to find you album covers this is the one for you.

It doesnt work. Period. Im not giving it any more time to explain why, they already too my $20.

I have used it, and I cannot understand the low ratings. It takes a while with a large file, but it did accomplish what I said it would. I feel good recommending the new version to those looking to clean up their files.

I have scanned my iTunes music with this app and it was only able to fix five missing album art covers out of 283. My music has the artist and alblum name but it seems that Itunes cleaner has a limited source to get album artwork from. I have update some of the album artwork and rescanned it, and the itune cleaner claimed them as its fix. I know that it wouldnt get everything but was hoping more than what it did.

This wasnt very useful for me at all…in fact it didnt do anything. maybe because my collection is mostly composed of classical music.

Over 90% of the time it is inaccurate for the tag info correction and over 75% of the time it is inaccurate with the album artwork. It completes defeats the purpose of the app. Unless they dramatically improve this, you are better not using the product as it will mess up your songs. I feel completely ripped off and wish I could get my money back. For others, don’t waste your money.

I used this application once approximately 1 year ago. I remember it actually working well. I opened it back up today in attempts to clean up my library again. IT DOESN’T WORK ANYMORE. It wants me to authorize it for my library and I can’t figure out how to get it working. Useless now.

No way to make it working if your iTunes library is not in the standard place. It does not find automatically the library and the way to set another location is really hidden. Even if you find it, then you have a sequel of errors due to access privilege. However all the other simile probrams work fine (i.e. there is not any access problem). No answer from the support.

If I had this program a few years ago it couldve saved me a lot of time. Back in my day we had to manually enter the information for each track in our iTunes library.Now I guess not any more. Leawo, Well Done :)

I was very skeptical at first. But I was more than pleasantly surprised. In a song base of over 4200, this program cleaned up almost all the errors in less than 30 minutes. One of the few programs Ive used that is worth the price.

There is no support for this. Ive sent email they dont answer. There is no documentation worth the name. On my 10.6.8 system there are permission errors reported in the UI, though my UID and GID have RWX permission on all files and directories in the library. Once the software has misidentified the artwork for a given album one can not change it. The software can not tell the difference between EminEm and ABBA. fail fail fail. I want my money and the most especially the afternoon I wasted back

I bought this application hoping for the best but unforunately it couldnt fix most of my problems… I have over 1,000 problems that it just cant help me with. Im assuming my library is just a terrible mess but that doesnt make the application any more valuable for me. I paid $20 and Im not sure what I got out of it. I did get a few covers but they might be inaccuarately assigned. Ill keep giving this a shot and update my review if I get better results.

Powerful, fast with a straight forward user interface. This app quickly processed my 200+ gigabyte iTunes library. It presented "best choice" options to add album art to dozens of albums with missing art work and quickly repaired the metadate to multiple music files.

I am super happy with Tunes Cleaner. I have tried other programs before and I have found that they were more frustrating than helpful. Finally Tunes Cleaner seems to get it right. I now love the look of my iTunes library.

App scans library, gives a 100% rating then hangs on permissions on songs that dont exist and does nothing else. Help is no help. Support exists only to collect information from your computer. This app is also malicious as it automatically sends a log.tgz file to Leawo Software when support is contacted. Support does not respond. Instead of $20 this app should be offered as beta freeware at most.

I was a TuneUp user for several years and enjoyed their product until the most recent upgrade that they made, version 3. They took a good product and made it useless (it just doesn’t work anymore) so it was time to shop for a new music cleaner. I did some reasearch and saw some good reviews for Tunes Cleaner and decided to give it a try. I can say thus far I’m very happy with the product. While not as features rich as TuneUp, Tune Cleaner WORKS! I primarily use it for chasing down album covers (I digitized over 500 of my old albums) and checking for dupes. I’m very happy with this product and will keep on using it.
