Tunes Cleaner App Reviews

Just useless

this app does nothing to cleanup metadata or otherwise. I purposely renamed file that are correctly labeled and it said it found nothing wrong. I duplicated the files and changed there metadate and still found nothing. I suspect this app is a scam. it throws up some fake scan then tells you everything is ok. waste of money. I will be contacting itunes to have this app removed and to get a refund.

Garbage Malware

This app did very little to clean up my music library and did not remove duplicates. It destroyed my iTunes library. When I attempted to contact Leawo multiple times I was ignored.

Made it worse

After it scanned it changed many correct items to a different language and did nothing for the ones that were wrong. Many of the correct songs changed were changed to albums and artists that were compleatly unrelated

Nice application!

It is a nice application. Great help.

Did well

This app go through all of my songs in iTunes and get those duplicates deleted. Fixed songs without album artwork then with missed album art to my tracks. Everything is done automatically. It is good, though about 20 songs are not identified.

Needs more accuracy even though it does quite well now

It does well on finding duplicates, songs without artwork, artist, album, name, etc. and tried to get those duplicated deleted, correct all missed track information. But one fault I should mention, the app is lack of accuracy when locating and retrieving track information. Expect more accurate fix till the next update.

Excellent in perfecting my lost music info

I have ripped all my CD collections, and then my iTunes became a disaster – songs all without names. I tried to complete them with iTunes, but thats really time-consuming. Then this iTunes cleanup tool helps. After cleanup, most of the songs matched with correct name. True to its name, get my iTunes music library well fixed.

Need to improve tags fixing

Tried this cleaner several times in both duplicate removing and tags fixing, it performs quite well in detecting and removing song duplicates, but needs improvement in tags fixing. Some of the song tags, which were correct, were fixed in the wrong way. And some others couldn’t even be recognized and fixed. I think that’s because of the weak music database.

A suggestion

The program acts nicely and satisfied me well. But I just got a suggestion: could I undo the fixings after I apply the results to my iTunes music library or music folders?

Remove Duplicates

Clearly, one of the most annoying things is the duplicates in my iTunes library. Therefore, I need a fast and efficient tool to clean them and prevent the tedious manual removal. It is just the one what I need. Now my iTunes library looks clean and charming.

Save my iTunes

I am having a large iTunes music collection with duplicated songs falling here and there. I have tried it to fix those songs without album artwork. But I am not satisfied with the results. Some of the founded covers are not right. Anyway, its a great savior for those duplicated songs.

Smart iTunes cleaner

When I open this app, it immediately tells me the current health of my iTunes music library via giving it a health score. Thats quite amazing. Then it shows all the issues of my iTunes, like duplicated songs, songs without album artwork, name, artist, etc. After fixing all these iTunes problems, it tells me the health score again. It could clean up not only iTunes but also the local music folder.

Great help

This software did an amazing job to detect, accumulate and delete the duplicated files. Great help if your iTunes library is in a mess especially with a lot of repeating files.

DO NOT BUY

This product ruined my itunes library. Do yourself a favor and buy SongGenie 2 instead. It ressurected my songs, all of which became unknown artist/unknown album/song title is now in Japanese hiragana, thanks to this waste of $20

Just Doesn’t Work

I bought this app after reading reviews on thier web site. I was optimatically hopeful it would help to clean up the 2000 plus duplicate songs that I have. So much for that, it just doesn’t work. It finds the duplicates easy enough. I click remove duplicates it acts like its doing it, but upon returning to iTunes I find them all still there. I have reloaded the library, confirmed I am using the same library etc. This app just doesn’t work. Planning on contacting Apple for a refund. I also tried to post a review on thier site, hoping that support might contact me or something. Well they just didn’t post the review, and didn’t contact me.

Great Update fir iTunes…Works well!! as advertised

In the past I used TuneUp and it took DAYS to finish..This gem gets it done in under an hour…Kudos for a seamless quick fix for bad Tags and Covers & Dplicates…. Thank You!!

kept crashing

Basically it just kept crashing. I installed it via the apps store and it never completed an action. It would seem to work for a while and then crash. It said I needed to purchase additional ‘rights(?)’ due to copyrights and when I tried it crashed. Whatever I did, the program crashed. Without getting a complete first run, i deleted the program.

crashes

It looked promising…I took a chance. It crashed my computer. Hopefully there will be an update to fix this. $20 is a lot to just throw away

Theres a reason its free...

When I run it it stops and says it needs permission to conitniue, and when you click grant permission it brings up a folder view window. There is no explanation as to what it wants me to do, and there is no help or support available to help you figure out what the issue is. Luckily I am only out a little time and no money. Also note that this appears to be just a trial and you have to do an in app purchase to actually perform any work. However since the app doesnt actually work for me I am unable to confirm that, and I can find nothing on their website that explains when the in app purchases are actually needed.

Lost in translation

Leawo desperately needs to hire some native English speakers. There’s something that needs to be done about getting permissions. The instructions on this page and on the website don’t make any sense. The instructions in the program itself are gibberish. “Please authority them” I’d love to see what this can do, but for now, it’s all lost in translation.
